Wantage Bridge Club has arranged a talk by Ed Scerri aimed at the average club player on 25th July at 2.00pm at the Comrades' Club in Wantage.
Ed is a Grand Master who has been a frequent contributor to 'English Bridge'. He has won several National Events, is currently rated in the top 35 on the UK 'Gold Point' list, and finished a close second in the 2008 National 'Master Point Race'.
Ed describes his teaching philosophy as
My strong preference is to place the emphasis not on technical
improvements or on specific conventions, but rather on general topics
which I review in such a way as to illustrate how the experts think at
the table. The hope is that this will prompt and assist the audience
into embracing this way of thinking, and in so doing, dramatically
improve their bridge and their results!
Tickets will be available on the door for £9.00 each.
