Oxfordshire enjoyed mixed fortunes in the final match of the season v Notts last Sunday, the A team losing 4-16 and the B team winning 14-6 (the B team result was announced as 15-5 but a scoring error was discovered in computing the cross-IMP results and the league secretary has been informed of the changed result, which makes no difference to the final placing of either county). For the record, Oxon finished 3rd in both divisions, behind Gloucestershire and Derbyshire and Gloucestershire and Warwickshire respectively. I was told at first that we were 2nd in the B division but Gloucestershire's startling 20-0 loss to Warwickshire in the final match enabled Warwickshire to leapfrog over us.
