The earlier you arrive the longer you get to tackle some bridge-themed Dingbats and instructive bridge problems that will be found around the college’s beautiful grounds.  Meet and get to know some of your fellow participants as you tackle this activity in small teams.

Register inside the Maplethorpe Building (right picture above) in the gardens of St Hugh’s College in north Oxford between 2.15 and 2.45.

At about 3.30 enjoy a scrumptious “Great British Bake Off” tea while learning the answers to the Dingbats and bridge problems.

We move indoors for the first bridge session of the week.  Rubber bridge players may choose between supervised (expert advice available on request) or unsupervised.  Duplicate players will play a “Swiss” event in which at the end of each round positions are redrawn so that each pair plays against a pair with a similar score.

Wine and soft drinks will be available to purchase.

We aim to complete the bridge session at about 7.15.  If you would like us to book tables for you and your friends (old and new) for a restaurant in the city we will be happy to do this for you while you play.

Price for this day - £20 per player.
