COMPETITIONS

All competitions are governed by the Competition Bylaws (latest edition on the Web April 2002), a copy of which may be obtained from your club secretary, or from the OBA Secretary or viewed on the OBA web site. Please note: No smoking in any county events; EBU regulations apply in events in which non OBA members may play. OBA membership should be paid before entering any OBA competitions. This is £3 per annum and was due on 1st April 2007, due to increase to £4 per annum from 1st April 2008.

Entry Procedure

Enter by completing the entry form and sending it to the appropriate competition secretary,

Entries for county competitions 4, 5, 6, 7, and 14,17,18,19 and 24 must be made by completing the appropriate entry form and sending it with the entry free to the Tournament Secretary, Rita Todd, at least 5 days before (i.e. Tuesday evening before) the event.

Entry fees for these include the cost of tea (sandwiches, cake etc).  Entries after this date will not be accepted.

Vacancy:  Someone to organise the qualifiers for the County Pairs Championship.

Alternatively entries can be made by e-mail and the money either put in the post or paid on the day. Please note, once an e-mail entry is made, the money must be paid and if you are later unable to play you must inform the chief tournament director and entries secretary so that other players are not inconvenienced at the event by having several sit-out pairs.
